The dawn of a NEW Black Rifle.
When we first envisioned building an AR-15 and M4 styled rifle, we had one driven purpose. Construct a rifle that not only could conquer the toughest extremes, but offer unparalleled accuracy as well. Of course, we also wanted all the parts used to be made in the Good Ol’ USA. With these two criteria’s established, we set off to find the best components possible to make such a rifle. In our quest, we also discovered that there were certain parts we felt did not meet our strict standards or could even be improved on so there was only one solution… design and manufacture our own. With a lot of hard work, sweat and determination as well as a few choice words along the way, we did just that. Little did we imagine when we built our first rifle in 2008 that we would see such overwhelming growth in such a short time!The word was getting out and in 2010, we fulfilled a dream and opened Black Dawn Armory in Sedalia, MO. As a Pro Shop, we offer firearms from the top leading manufacturers along with a full line of accessories geared toward the AR market including our own designed Black Dawn parts. We also expanded our in-house Custom Shop to offer a wide range of services and finish options allowing our customers to build that truly one-of-a-kind rifle. In 2011, we had our best year yet seeing unprecedented sales and introduced a ‘Zombie Slayer’ line of rifles and accessories to the public as well.
Regardless of how big we get, one thing will never change. Each rifle is still made one at a time and tested thoroughly for absolute functioning reliability with unsurpassed accuracy. This is how we started and this is where our reputation was earned so we do not take that lightly. We are committed to providing our customers the best rifle possible for their hard-earned dollars. For this year, we are excited to offer our line of rifles featuring Magpul MOE furniture and Magpul MBUS flip-up sights as the standard setup. We are also proud to introduce a rifle chambered in the new .300 BLACKOUT. This is really an impressive round in the AR-15 platform plus still being able to utilize the standard 5.56 magazines is a great bonus. We are diligently working on an AR-10 chambered in .308 Win that will live up to the reputation our AR-15’s have established. We anticipate its availability later this year. We are sure you will not be disappointed. This is shaping up to be yet another groundbreaking year for us and we look forward to you joining our family!
